ATMO-ACCESS Annual Meeting 2024

ATMO-ACCESS will hold its annual General Meeting in Wuppertal (Germany), from Tuesday 19th to Thursday 21st March 2024.

How to reach the campus?
There are two buses (roughly every 10 min) crossing the university campus. Use either line 645 (direction “Schulzentrum SĂŒd”) or 615 (direction “Remscheid”) from the central bus stop at the main station (“Wuppertal Hbf”). Leave the bus at the bus stop “UniversitĂ€t”.

How to reach the event?
There are several ATMO-ACCESS information signs on the campus, which will guide you. When you leave the bus, turn left. Go along the street until you reach the zebra crossing. It is advisable to change the side of the road here since there are construction sites on the right side of the street. Go along the street until you see a white building on the right side. The meetings will take place in lecture hall HS 31 (building I)
Meetings :
To reach the lecture hall, you have to enter building K on the left side of the street. Go up the stairs (2
floors) and walk through the glass doors. After that you have to cross the small foyer and go up the
stairs. After you have turned right and walked through the door, you will find HS 31 on the left side.

🚌TRANSPORTThe university can be reached:

from DĂŒsseldorf airport ✈:
Train : 7€ from DĂŒsseldorf Flughafen Terminal
Line S11 direction DĂŒsseldorf Hauptbahnhof (= Central Station)
from there any train toward Wuppertal Hauptbahnhof (= Central Station)
then take a bus to the University, lines 615 or 645

-🚆2 train stations on the DĂŒsseldorf airport :
one below the terminal (“DĂŒsseldorf Flughafen Terminal”, S11) and one at the end of the airport (“DĂŒsseldorf Flughafen”).
At the latter one, there are much more options to take a train, e. g. RE 1 (direction “Aachen Hbf”), RE 5 (direction “Koblenz Hbf”), RE 6 (direction “Köln/Bonn Flughafen”), RE 11 (direction “DĂŒsseldorf Hbf”).
These can be used to get to “DĂŒsseldorf Hbf”.

At “DĂŒsseldorf Hbf “ DĂŒsseldorf train station :
there are two trains, operated by private companies, to get to Wuppertal: RE 4 (direction “Dortmund Hbf”) and RE 13 (direction “Hamm (Westf) Hbf”).

From Wuppertal train station:
Wuppertal Hauptbahnhof (= Central Station)
then take a bus to the University, lines 615 or 645

How to reach ?
To enter building V you have to use the main entrance (next to the red statue), which connects building V and W. You will find the foyer and the adjacent seminar room (V.08.001) on the right. Since the workshop starts with buffet lunch, please come to the seminar room first.
