ITINERIS – ACTRIS Pilot Access Call

ITINERIS is excited to announce the launch of the ITINERIS – ACTRIS Pilot Access Call for proposals to access to offer enhanced access to Europe’s most advanced facilities for observation and exploration of the atmosphere to users, as part of our ongoing commitment to support innovative research in the environmental sciences.

This pilot call aims to facilitate access to advanced data, cutting-edge instruments, and services offered by ACTRIS facilities to promote research in the atmospheric domain and also in all other environmental domains with project idea for which atmospheric data is a prerequisite.

Users from different disciplines are encouraged to submit proposals for novel and unconventional use of ACTRIS facilities through this pilot initiative for testing the national access program under development in the ITINERIS project.

What does ‘access’ cover?

The call is open to:
• Italian users willing to access ACTRIS facilities. and to foreign users willing to access the Italian ACTRIS facilities.
• Foreign users interested in accessing the Italian ACTRIS facilities.

Key Information:

• Latest applications due by: 31st March 2025

• Review: upon submission

• Access period: starting from the approval – to be concluded by 31st July 2025.

• Topic: general call. No topic restriction and researchers from multidisciplinary projects are encouraged to apply.

• Financial support to users: Access will be provided free of charge and users will receive a GRANT upon completing physical access at the facility.

Proposals should be submitted via the PASS platform (Platform for managing user access to ACTRIS Services), where submission guidelines and full details are available.
